Code of Conduct Policy
Bayshore Little League is committed to providing every participant with a positive youth baseball and/or youth softball experience. Every participant, from the players, managers, coaches, board members, umpires and parent helpers are a volunteer. The league spends a tremendous amount resources in supporting our volunteers with quality training, improved facilities and the best available equipment. The fabric of an all-volunteer league is held together by good sportsmanship and the mutual respect of everyone involved.
Bayshore Little League believes that each participant deserves to be treated with respect. The essential elements of character-building and ethics in youth sports are embodied in the concept of sportsmanship and six core principles:
- Trustworthiness,
- Respect,
- Responsibility,
- Fairness,
- Caring, and
- Good Citizenship.
Bayshore Little League has implemented the following Codes of Conduct for the important message it holds about the proper role of parents, volunteers and players have in supporting children in youth sports. Our codes of conduct hold an important message about the proper role of parents, volunteers, and players in our league. Parents should read, understand and acknowledge these policies prior to their children participating in our league.
